There is a litmus test for any elected candidate, especially in this city: you have to be for gay marriage. And anyone that is reading this has to have an understanding of how universal wi-fi could revolutionize our little town.
Sure, Betsy Gotbaum has experience, but as mentioned before a few administrative accomplishments fail to impress. Norman Siegel is a strong supporter of LGBT issues, but his style is antagonistic and unlikely to produce results. Our city needs a person with the mindset of Andrew Rasiej; his eye is focussed on transparent, results-oriented government.
Rasiej has turned out tons of grass-root support, evidenced by "Rasiej" being the number one search on Technorati for the majority of the day today. But just posting about a superior candidate won't get them elected. With turnout expected to be low, every vote counts, including yours.
