A few notes regarding this first post using the iPhone 2.0 TypePad widget:

• In the past I had just used the “mail to” function to send a picture from the phone to web.
• Resolution and size changes:
  • New method
    
    • 75.53 KB (77342 bytes)
    • Width/Height:  319 x 320 px
  • Old method
    • 75.88 KB (77703 bytes)
    • Width/Height:  452 x 603 px
• Speed difference
  • New method:  less than 30 seconds
  • Old method:  more than a minute
• Conclusions
  • Typepad widget allows for faster upload of smaller picture that is relatively the same amount of bytes.
  • Typepad widget allows for square shots, sort of an odd choice, artistically and not as attractive as previous.

Craigslist ad of the day - Tassel loafers with no socks

A few friends and I regularly send each other ads we find in the assorted m4m craigslist section.  As they are usually awesome, I'll begin sharing them here, with no commentary.

Ugly Betty is filming in Long Island City

There are three paparazzi, twelve 'street wranglers' dozens of crew 
and one America Dural.

UPDATED:  The second picture is actually clearer.  Dural was complaining loudly about something to her fellow actor.  Some fans from the neighborhood were gawking.  A subway entrance was inaccessible which inconvenienced me.  One of the street wranglers was hot.

Long Island City is now 100% gentrified
