Reverend Rubén Díaz is a Bronx preacher that is trying to consolidate power around himself in the newly Democratic New York Senate. How so? By opposing gay marriage. And by declaring the potential of a black Senate Majority leader (in addition to a black president and governor) a problem.
(And by the way, where I grew up? They'd consider him black.)
