Towleroad is one of those blogs that found its niche early and has delivered the goods consistently for years now, but this quote is the best sentence that Andy Towle's (assumedly) beautifully manicured fingers has ever typed. Meanwhile, while I've never seen a Taylor Swift video, I can say that it's not just gayopic vision on this. The Beyonce video delivered recognition in the form of countless parodies including the now-classic SNL Andy Samberg spoof. So while Kanye West was probably in the wrong to jump the stage and act out, his opinion certainly shouldn't be invalidated so easily, despite the wonderfulosity of the invalidation. And the later vindication of the Beyonce video, and Beyonce's class act of bringing Swift onto the stage? Empty Vee at its finest, which makes me wonder if it was staged from the start.
