So last night I went to Union Square for this "Vermont Victory Rally" last night to celebrate that gay marriage thing and I stood there looking around for like five minutes and, well, there was totally no one cute in the crowd.

It was that sort of crowd that needs to get married for regular "act-shoun", you know?  Anyway, so I went over to Virgin Music Store and was super-thrilled to get the remastered "Check Your Head" (Beastie Boys!), but super-disappointed to not find that European-release Grace Jones album that all my cooler-than-me friends has.  Anyway, purchase in hand, I passed by the Vermont thingie again and the cuteness still hadn't arrived, so I went over to Wendy's and had a Baconator while reading Madame Bovary.

Gays troubled by Vermont marriage ruling

"Oh my God!  Vermont approved gay marriage!"

"Really?  Was it on the news?"

"The what?  No, it was on Dalyn and Thompson and Bryan and Joe's Facebook status!"

"Well, whatever.  Lesbians will be thrilled."

"Everyone will be thrilled!"

"It's fucking Vermont."

"Don't you want to get married?"

"The only time to go to Vermont is during ski season.  Otherwise it's just this granolapalooza with decent syrup."
