Agenda for a city summer Sunday with lots of water taxi action: Red Hook, Bay Ridge, West Village, Chelsea

Having been out of the city for so many weekends in a row, it seems I've forgotten what to do.
The Agenda:

• Water-taxi from LIC to Pier 11
• IKEA boat to Red Hook.  Avoid IKEA.  Meet up with friends at gallery.
• R train to Bay Ridge to go to secret shopping stop.  Buy more black athletic shirts and peruse.
• Water-taxi to Christopher Street pier.  Carouse like its 1999.
• Meet up in friends' West Village apartment.
• Go to Eagle beer blast.  Eat a burger.
• Go home.

Wouldn't it be so totally ironic if there was, like, a punctuation mark to point out that something is, like, ironic?

Apparently there already is, and surprisingly it is not a recent invention.

A few notes regarding this first post using the iPhone 2.0 TypePad widget:

• In the past I had just used the “mail to” function to send a picture from the phone to web.
• Resolution and size changes:

  • Old method
    • 75.88 KB (77703 bytes)
    • Width/Height:  452 x 603 px
• Speed difference
  • New method:  less than 30 seconds
  • Old method:  more than a minute
• Conclusions
  • Typepad widget allows for faster upload of smaller picture that is relatively the same amount of bytes.
  • Typepad widget allows for square shots, sort of an odd choice, artistically and not as attractive as previous.

This Olivia Newton-John moment was vaguely inspired by the kind words of another hyphenated lady.  Which is not to say hymenated, as she doesn't seem virginal to me.
