Number thirty-six in a series.

Jefferson1_brown

  1. What's your secret to staying so beautiful?
Cocoa butter, tons of water, sleep and people that make you happy.
  2. Is it true what the tabloids are saying about your relationship?
Not at all, I've never even met (insert insanely hot bald action movie actor), nor have I ever been to WestSide Club.
  3. This new project of yours is certainly taking everyone by surprise. Tell us about it.
The new series of podcasts? Yes, they are a totally different character than the Zodiac Series of '08 and they will tie in perfectly with Dance on the Pier 23 for NYC Pride this year.
  4. Who are you wearing?
Raf Simons, Ecko, Minoritees ... Moncler ... not really a good brand dropper.  I just wear what I like and what likes me back!
  5. Would you ever do a role that required nudity?
Haven't we all played a "role" in the nude at some point in time???

You can find Corey all around town at places like Star Lounge, Vlada*, and Aspen.  Or at Tea this summer in the Pines.  Or wherever else homos and homophiles are shaking their asses across the globe.  In fact, he's in the room with you, right now, cocoa butter in hand.

* - Holding my tongue.

Well, I'm working on new tunes towards a proper album with some really talented people. The Valentine's Day tune I put out was just a taste of what's to come. I'm pretty excited about how things are shaping up.
  4. Who are you wearing?
"It Rubs The Lotion On Its Skin".  It's very Comme des Garçons meets Silence of the Lambs.
  5. Would you ever do a role that required nudity?
Where did that question come from? Are you coming on to me? Why did the lights just dim?

Learn more about Xavier and hear his music and buy his album or just stare at his prettiness, all at his website.

The MO Interview - Desi, the artist

Desisantiago Number thirty-four in a series.

I'm wearing Desi Monster designed by my mommy monster.
  5. Would you ever do a role that required nudity?
    Again?

Check out Escandalo's video and listen to remixes for La Bruja.  You can see Desi in the Monster-y flesh at (admittedly my favorite club night) Vandam, Sundays at Greenhouse.

The MO Interview - Sara, the comedienne

Sarabenincasa Number thirty-three in a series.

  1. What's your secret to staying so beautiful?
Each morning, I soak my face in clarified shit.
  2. Is it true what the tabloids are saying about your relationship?
Yes, I DO live with the guy who writes the comic strip "Sally Forth." And sure, there are a lot of bitches who try to ride his tail, but you know, that just comes with the territory when you write a comic strip about a white family in Minnesota. I knew what he did when we got involved, so I can't complain about it now.
  3. This new project of yours is certainly taking everyone by surprise. Tell us about it.
I'm reviving the bathtub interview series I did for Nerve.com. Now it's just for meeeeee, on the Inter-nets. The series may or may not still be called "Tub Talk." We have to figure out legal ish with Nerve. I'm totally up for renaming it "Gettin' Wet with Sara B." My first interviews are with Margaret Cho and Amanda Palmer. My dream interviews are Joseph Gordon-Leavitt and Bernie Goetz. For different reasons.
  4. Who are you wearing?
Some slutty black top by Mandee or somewhere equally trashy; double-thickness black winter leggings by American Apparel; red wellies with white polka dots by Ricky's; green bra from Victoria's Secret; lemon and sage hand moisturizer by Bliss; socks by Duane Reade.
  5. Would you ever do a role that required nudity?
    Totes.

You can learn more about Sara by going to your bathtub.  She's in there right now waiting to interview you.  Or you can go to her website.  Or to a plethora of stages downtown.

The MO Interview - Alejandro, the playwright

Wr

Number thirty-two in a series.

  1. What's your secret to staying so beautiful?
    Hallucinogens .
  2. Is it true what the tabloids are saying about your relationship?
Look, let me tell you something: It was Hugh Jackman stalking ME not the other way around!
  3. This new project of yours is certainly taking everyone by surprise. Tell us about it.
My play "william bell" just played the Metropolitan Playhouse in the East Village.  Up next: I will be reading at the Nuyorican Poets' Cafe in March and my play "the october crisis (to laura)" will be part of The Public Theater's Spotlight Series in April.  My book of collected plays is available on amazon.com and lulu.com.   Also, I'm writing a play set on Fire Island.  This is going to require research.  A great deal of research.  Three summers' worth, I think.
  4. Who are you wearing?
I got a great deal on Madonna's old cheekbones on eBay.
  5. Would you ever do a role that required nudity?
I always do my own stunts.

The return of the MO Interview

Back in 2005 a series of interviews started here asking five simple questions:

  1. What's your secret to staying so beautiful?
  2. Is it true what the tabloids are saying about your relationship?
  3. This new project of yours is certainly taking everyone by surprise. Tell us about it.
  4. Who are you wearing?
  5. Would you ever do a role that required nudity?

It was the Proustian Questionnaire with the vapidity of Access Hollywood and a focus on the celebrities of my life instead of the the national celebrities of whom I know (thankfully) nothing.  (For example, while it is sad when anyone is beaten, why is it extra sad when the Umbrella girl is beaten by a chewing gum salesman?  Sorry, I digress.)

In the past the interview was graced by Michael Musto (!), RuPaul, Lypsinka, the owner of Boy Butter (?!) and people met in dive bars like Milano's

Word has gone out to a new batch of people of (my) interest and will start up soon.  Any requests?  Let me know.

The Manhattan Offender Interview: Daniel, the debaucher

Daniel Number thirty in a series.

  1. What's your secret to staying so beautiful?
Much like singer Kylie Minogue, who uses a cream made from the foreskin of circumsized babies (that's true!), I use the cream from the foreskin of uncircumsized Puerto Ricans hustlers to keep my skin supple.
  2. Is it true what the tabloids are saying about your relationship?
Well, it is true.  Anderson Cooper and I are seeing each other, and I'm spinning 360 in my chair about it!
  3. This new project of yours is certainly taking everyone by surprise. Tell us about it.
You know how every year Out Magazine does an "OUT 100" Awards party celebrating gay celebs?  I'm starting an "IN 100" Awards, for celebs like Kevin Spacey, Clay Aiken, and my own dear Anderson.  But I just realized.  Who will accept their awards?
  4. Who are you wearing?
Fellow CNN Anchor Rick Sanchez. (Don't tell Anderson!)
  5. Would you ever do a role that required nudity?
I only do roles that require nudity.

If you haven't placed the face, you'll more likely place the name. Daniel Nardicio, known for the East Village's most debaucherous gay parties isn't just a the downtown party promoter and the "D" of his wildly successful "MySpace - if - MySpace - didn't - suck - and - was - way - gay - friendly  - and - not - owned - by - the - evil - Rupert - Murdoch" DList.  His talk-radio show, Dlist Radio, recently managed to nail an interview with Mike Jones, the escort who brought down swishy preacher Ted Haggard. In his role as "the gay Howard Stern", Daniel managed to coax some of the most sordid details from Jones:  the homophobe minister's drug use, sexual positions, and, um, cleanliness and cock-size, too. The details are only on his radio show, available for podcast on East Village Radio (registration required).

Not that Daniel isn't on the party scene anymore.  After having parties closed down once by order of the police, Daniel is now taking his raunch on the road and will next week be in Toronto.  Oh, Canada!

The Manhattan Offender Interview: Gordon, the ringmaster

Number twenty-nine in a series.

  1. Gordon_bressack What's your secret to staying so beautiful?
I stay beautiful by bathing in toxic waste.  It leaves my skin glowing clean and removes skin blemishes and, of course, the skin itself. My lips have been injected with yeast which is far more effective than collagen and has a nice yeasty aroma.  My teeth have been made a lustrous dark yellowish brown by chewing only the finest beef jerky.  But my favorite beauty secret is my hair.  I keep it clean.  I keep it smelling fresh.  I keep it in my top drawer.
  2. Is it true what the tabloids are saying about your relationship?
No, I always wear underpants, especially when getting in and out of limousines. My relationship with Heather Locklear is our own private business.  It is one of mutual respect, for each other and the teachings of Aleister Crowley.  Since my divorce from Halle Berry, we have maintained the closest of relationships and occasionally get together to discuss our careers, debate politics and to have nasty animal sex, usually involving a nasty animal.
  3. This new project of yours is certainly taking everyone by surprise. Tell us about it.
"Voideville - The Last Show On Earth" is a labor of love.  It is a "variety" show that takes place in the future, after the tragic events of 9/11 and 2/12,  but before the even more tragic events of 6/14, 3/22, 5/28 and 1/11.  Consisting of acts uncovered in the rubble of what is left of New York City, it provides the last vestige of what passes for entertainment.  People are so desperate for diversion in these trying times that they'll even appreciate crap like "Voideville".  We have every kind of entertainer from a lion tamer to Dildo The Clown and special guest stars for each and every show. Created by myself and Ruby Lynn Reyner, it was first performed in 1979.  It's back now, more inappropriate than ever and twice as sick. Three weeks only!  Performances begin Feb.1.
  4. Who are you wearing?
Funny you should ask.  I am wearing a stunning outfit created by designer Lola Naisse, the costume designer for "Voideville".  It consists of fabric culled from the many remnants found floating in New York Harbor during those dark days following the Golden Globe Awards.
  5. Would you ever do a role that required nudity?
I would only do a role that required nudity, as long as it is tasteful, necessary, dirty and someone else's body.  The only time I ever show my own naked body is in Central Park on weekends to Japanese tourists.

Learn more about Gordon at Voideville at the Theater for the New City, running three weeks, starting February 1.
