The term wifebeater has such charged meanings. To some, it is a shirt you expect to find on a white trash male. To others, it is the summer uniform for a butch lesbian. Still others find it a offensive term, making light of domestic violence.
To me, it is just a damn sexy cut of a shirt. It is a daily staple of my wardrobe. It is what you will usually see me wearing during yoga or just a regular workout.
So as not to brush off the negative connotations of
the term, let it be said here that MO is not misogynistic and loves his ladyfriends. As with any term of offense, the goal is to take the term and turn it on its head.
From now until it becomes boring look to this space to feature a guy in my favorite type of shirt (or even a lady if one volunteers). Pictures will be scoped out from some of the usual suspects (Big Muscle Bears, et al) and of course, if you want to submit a pic it would gladly be posted with whatever message you'd like to accompany it.
For the first installment, some dude that was hanging out in my bedroom. The shirt is a Hugo Boss, and the color is black to cover some of that winter weight. The model claims to own no other type of undershirt, which is a statement to believed as his drawers have been gone through.
